SmartReef^TM +Mag1 (Magnesium Chloride) will help restore restore low levels of magnesium in your aquarium when used with SmartReef^TM +Mag2. Magnesium in the ocean are between 1250 mg/L and 1350 mg/L. Magnesium is required to maintain the correct calcium, alkalinity and ph levels in the aquarium.
